Professor Yi Jiang is the Head of Building Energy Research Center (BERC) at Tsinghua University, China, which is one of the major bodies in China to provide research consultancy to the government on building energy and to deliver solutions of building energy efficiency to the whole society. The Chief Editor of Annual Report of Chinese Building Energy Study, Dr. Jiang is key personnel directing green buildings of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games venues, and the leader of DeST (an integrated building simulation tool). His significant contributions also included high-efficiency district heating, temperature and humidity independent air-conditioning system, and energy saving in commercial buildings, demonstrated from four national awards for the works. Professor is a Member of Chinese Academy of Engineering since 2001, and member of national energy advisory committee of China State Council. He is the co-chairman of Chinese Association of HVAC Engineers, Advisor of Beijing Municipality, and holds editorships for a number of archival journals. Dr. Jiang has published over 130 papers and 9 books.
