Infosys is a large, India-based software consulting company, with 165,000 employees in 11 campuses, that has reduced its per capita energy consumption by 50% since 2008. The presentation will illustrate how Infosys’s aggressive energy efficiency and sustainability goals have been applied to the design of its new campus in Hyderabad. The buildings include low energy cooling systems and comprehensive daylighting, with lessons learned from each building implemented in the design of the next. Infosys is standardizing on radiant cooling and has also instigated extensive performance monitoring in each of its buildings. The 480 acre site includes extensive tree planting and water management measures. The presentation will be extensively illustrated with photographs taken by the presenters on a recent trip to India that included a whole day visit to the campus.
