Yuan Lu graduated BS from Changchun University of Science & Technology (Changchun, China) majoring in Optical Information Science and Technology, then became a graduate student of Ocean University of China (Qingdao, China) with the major of Optical Engineering, and continued his research (LIBS detection enhancement underwater) as a PhD student in Physics since 2008. Now he is a visiting student of Rick's group and engaging in the research of micro-LIBS.
