Wouter Borsboom is Co-Head of Department Energy, Comfort and Indoor Environment at TNO Built Environment and Geosciences which is located in Delft, The Netherlands, where he worked for 8 years . He is working on the area of Energy in the Built environment since 1995, starting in building integrated photovoltaic and solar thermal. He had a key role in the design and realization of the solar roofs in the city of the Sun the largest photovoltaic neighborhoodf worldwide http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stad_van_de_Zon . He was Coordinator and initiator of the EUR-ACTIVE ROOFer project with the International Federation of the Roofer Trade, www.euractiveroofer.org. The goal was to support, train and certified roofers in realizing high performance energy efficient roofs. He is initiator of the Fresh air school concept of energy efficient school building with an optimal indoor environment. A new energy efficient ventilation system is developed within this initiative.
