Dr. Vijay Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Engineering at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  His research is on development of novel fractionation technologies for corn dry grind ethanol and corn wet milling processes.  Dr. Singh has authored more than 90 professional publications and holds four patents related to corn processing.  He received his B. Tech. Degree in Agricultural Engineering from India in 1992 and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1998.  Dr. Singh is recipient of Young Faculty Excellence Award from Corn Refiners Association in 2003 and New Holland Young Researcher Award from American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers in 2005.  Vijay is an active member of American Association of Cereal Chemists, American Society of Agricultural Engineers, American Institute of Chemical Engineers and Institute of Food Technologists.
