Karen Salvini is a Program Manager for the Environmental Energy Technologies Division. Her work focuses on continuous operational improvement, including project and budget management, sponsor relations, information systems, and communications. Prior to joining LBNL, Karen worked at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) where she modernized the information infrastructure for marine policy and research programs. Karen received her undergraduate degree in environmental science from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, and her MBA from UC Berkeley – Haas School of Business, with a focus on energy and buildings. She is a LEED Accredited Professional.
