Energy Policy

Energy policy research at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory covers a wide range of topics from the development of policy strategies to encourage the deployment of renewable energy resources and end-use energy forecasting, to research on energy efficiency standards and codes, and electric system planning. Researchers are also providing technical assistance to help federal, state and local government agencies in the United States, and throughout the world, develop long term strategies, policy, and programs to encourage energy-efficiency in all sectors and industries.
