Dr. Yufeng Zhang is a Professor of Building Science at South China University of Technology (SCUT). He received his PhD in Building Science in 2006 from Tsinghua University, China, and also holds a BA in HVAC Engineering from Tsinghua University. His research interests are in human responses to built thermal environment, architectural microclimate and aerodynamics, and building and urban design for comfort and energy conservation. He is the vice leader of BEEL (Building Environment and Energy Laboratory, an organization in SCUT), investigating thermal adaptation of people and providing design criteria for built thermal environment in hot-humid area of China.
