Tyler Yan is a student assistant at China Energy Group. He is an undergraduate, Environmental Sciences student who constantly thinks about the analogies between urban ecosystem and natural environment. Tyler has co-directed 2013 Berkeley China Forum and now belongs to BERC China Focus, a division at Berkeley Energy & Resources Collaborative. He also embraces a variety of experiences, including teaching assisting art history, writing about his U.S. experiences on magazines, featuring in theatre works and monitoring dry wood termites. Currently he is participating in the genetic research about maize “jumpy genes” and competing in indoor soccer.
