Saket Sarraf has over 10 years of experience in India and the USA working across the fields of Urban and regional planning, Energy and sustainability, GIS and Systems modeling. He divides his time between Advocacy; Research, Policy analysis and Professional projects. He heads a research based practice ps Collective, envisioned as a platform to work towards a better future by working at the intersection of land, environment, social justice and development. Saket was responsible for creating the model for benchmarking and performance based rating program for commercial buildings in India under the USAID ECO-III project for the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Government of India. He also works closely with the Center for Sustainable Environment and Energy at the CEPT University, Ahmedabad, and the Land Use Evolution and Impact Assessment Model at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He is a certified Measurement and Verification Professional and Trainer, as well as a certified GRIHA Trainer and Evaluator. Saket is formally trained as an architect from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and as a Urban and Regional Scientist from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. He was awarded the outstanding PhD award in 2006 for his dissertation on modeling socioeconomic dynamics as a driver of urban growth. www.ps.collective.in
