Professor Peter V. Nielsen has written papers, articles and books on air movement in rooms, energy flow in buildings, control equipment and integrated product development. He is a member of International Academy of Indoor Air Science (IAIAS) and ASHRAE fellow. He is Honorary Professor at University of Hong Kong and elected as Guest Professor at Central South University in China, as well as at Southeast University in China. Peter V. Nielsen was one of the first who used CFD in the indoor environment published as early as in 1973. He has received the John Rydberg Gold Medal, REHVA's Ole Fanger Award in Science, and the Order of Knight of Dannebrog.
