Pei Miao is a research associate from China’s Peking University, and joins the China Energy Group (CEG) as a visiting scholar starting March 2014. He received two bachelor degrees from Sun Yat-Sen University (Zhongshan University): one in Japanese and the other in Economics. He later received scholar to pursue in sync two Master’s degrees in Japan and the United Kingdom: a Master of International Relations from Japan’s Ritsumeikan University and another Master of International Political Economy from England’s University of York. His research during his stay in the CEG focuses on energy savings performance contracts (ESPC) and life cycle cost theory, and is currently working on a China-U.S. ESPC White Paper with CEG staff, Dr. Bo Shen.
