Kristin Heinemeier recently joined the staff of Portland Energy Conservation, Inc., where she manages and conducts research and technology transfer projects in the areas of building commissioning, retrocommissioning, and other aspects of building energy management, from her office in Davis California.Prior to joining PECI, Kristin was the Technical Director of the Brooks Energy and Sustainability Laboratory, a technology transfer collaborative located in San Antonio that involves Texas A&M University's "Texas Engineering Experiment Station" and the Georgia Tech Research Institute.She has worked for 20 years in the area of energy efficiency, including working in product development for Honeywell International, and in energy efficiency research at LBNL.  Kristin is the vice-chair of ASHRAE Technical Committee 7.9, Building Commissioning, and is the Chair of the Building Commissioning Association's  Professional Development Committee.
