Giuseppe Muliere graduated in nuclear physics in 2003 from the University of Pavia (Department of Nuclear and Theoretical Physics) with a thesis about environmental and economic problems from energy production and consumption. From 2004 to 2005 he was involved in a research project at the Department of Nuclear and Theoretical Physics focused on local energy planning. From 2005 he worked as environmental specialist at the Province of Pavia public administration. Currently he is a PhD student at the Department of Electrical Engineering of Pavia University. He takes part in the Energy Management Laboratory and his research work focuses on models for local energy/environmental planning. At the moment he is working on the MarkAl optimization Model of Province of Pavia in order to support local policy makers about energy/environmental matters.
