Fahmida completed her Master's in public policy from the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management in UC Santa Barbara in 2006.  Her group thesis identified a package of emissions reduction mechanisms for UCSB to meet Governor Schwarzenegger's targets for California.  The project's recommendations are being incorporated into UCSB's Campus Sustainability Plan this year, and are serving as a template for the Cal Climate Action Partnership.   Last summer, she interned with LBNL's Energy Analysis and Technologies Division to design a sustainability plan for the Laboratory. Expertise: emission reduction mechanisms, sustainability
