Bryan Reichel was born in Stewartville, Minnesota on June 1, 1955. He graduated from Stewartville High School in1973 and proceeded to take over the family construction business. Bryan attended Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota from 1973 to 1975. During his summers away from college he was the owner of Reichel Construction and Development Company – a family owned residential construction business in southern Minnesota. He continued operating that business after college until 1992. Bryan founded PureChoice, Inc., in 1992 and has been Chairman of the Board of Directors and President since its incorporation. PureChoice owns numerous patents in the field of continuous real-time monitoring for indoor environmental parameters. Bryan is dedicated to providing businesses with cost-effective solutions to measure, manage and conserve energy while providing a superior indoor environment. From 1995 to 2000, Bryan served as a member of the American Hotel & Motel Environmental Committee and also as a member of the American Hotel/Motel Association Allied Executive Committee. He was also a charter member of the Board of Directors for the Midwest Aerospace Consortium for Small Business (MACSB) at its inception 1999. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Center For The American Experiment, a conservative think tank located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Bryan also serves as the Fundraising Chair for the Senate District 35 Republicans in Minnesota. He is also past Chairman of the Scott County Republicans and is an avid fundraiser supporting conservative values across the country. Bryan has been a frequent speaker on the topic of growing importance of Building Performance Software, Healthy Indoor Air Quality and Continuous Air Quality Monitoring to groups such as BOMA, The National School Board Association, ASHRAE, the GSA and also various PTA and legal groups. Bryan is also the founder and owner of America’s Team Properties – which owns the federally registered sports trademark - America’s Team®. The America’s Team Foundation gives out the Americas’ Team® Award each year to qualifying sports teams based on their Sportsmanship, Integrity, Teamwork, Excellence and Achievement. Past recipients of the award have been the Florida Gators, the Tennessee Vols, the Maryland Terps, the Dallas Mavericks, the Minnesota Twins, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Carolina Hurricanes. Bryan also sponsors youth programs through the America’s Team Charitable Foundation – ranging from softball teams and soccer teams to dogsled teams and professional bass fishing teams.
