Many printers come in several models with extra letters or symbols
attached to the model number.
This table omits most of those.
The duplex speed is as reported by the manufacturer.
The printing speed in simplex and duplex is slowed down by
complicated pages.
means that the printer meets the criteria of the
Energy Star program.
Some of the prices are from manufacturers and some from local
distributors.
Manufacturers may change prices and prices can vary among
distributors.
Monthly Images is the manufacturer's rating for the maximum
recommended use.
Few people use their printer anywhere near these volumes.
Paper Weight is the minimum paper weight the printer is rated
to operate with.
We aren't recommening 16 lb. paper (though if you are inclined to
try it, let us know what you find out), but are looking forward
to the wide availability of 18 lb. paper.
