Internet Based Energy and Demand Reduction Using Tridium

Date:
July 9, 2002 - 12:00pm
Location:
Bldg. 90

Tridium is a technology company that provides a means to reduce energy costs and consumption and manage equipment and buildings over the Internet.  Their solution includes a hardware platform providing connectivity to existing smart devises such as metering technologies, lighting control panels, and temperature control panels, and their software solutions offer users real-time monitoring and control of buildings.  By integrating metering devises with building equipment and then linking to energy providers or ISO's via the Internet, Tridium can provide automated demand response capabilities to help lower peak demand.
