COMIS: User Information

Overview

This page gives information on obtaining and running the COMIS multizone airflow and pollutant transport model. It also includes information about tools that support COMIS:

  • Graphical User Interface for Comis Input (GUICI).
  • CAD-to-COMIS capability.
  • XML format for COMIS input.

Obtaining COMIS

Currently the only version of COMIS available from LBNL is the public-domain version 3.0.2, available on the original COMIS web pages at LBNL.

A commercial version, COMIS version 3.1, is also available. This version was developed jointly by the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Testing and Research (EMPA) and the French Scientific Center for Building Physics (CSTB). The license fee covers both user help and a Windows-only graphical interface, IIsiBat.
