NH3 Flux Measurements

We are measuring emissions and deposition of ammonia at sites with low to moderate fluxes (~ 10-100 ng m-2 s-1)
using the eddy covariance technique. To accomplish the measurements, we developed an automated instrument to measure.  The instrument combines a QCL spectrometer (Aerodyne Res. Inc.) with a heated fast response inlet system, automated calibration system, sonic anemometer, and infrared gas analyzer for complementary measurements of CO2 and H2O fluxes.
