The goal of the Global Energy Demand Collaborative is to develop a detailed database of energy use for all major energy end-use service demands for ten regions of the world. The database will include data on end-use technology, including efficiency, usage, saturation, and other relevant characteristics. It will be historical (1971 to present) and will also represent one or more future scenarios to the year 2030. Overall management of the project will be carried out by staff at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in collaboration with Ecofys.
