On April 20-22, 1999, the Department of Energy (DOE) conducted a review of the Heat Island Program (HIP) at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). The Heat Island Program is jointly funded by the U.S. DOE (Program Manager: Mark Decot) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) (Program Managers: Virginia Gorsevski and Jeanne Briskin).
