Karen Rosen

Karen is a Senior Research Associate in the Energy Analysis Department of the Environmental Energy Technologies Division, at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Current projects involve estimating national energy consumption of consumer electronics and home office equipment for the Department of Energy. Karen also works with the International Energy Agency and the EPA's Energy Star Program on the issue of standby energy consumption, and maintains the Standby Power Website.

Karen is also a first-year PhD student in UC Berkeley's Energy & Resources Group (ERG) and works only half-time at LBL.
